Master
If you had told me twenty years ago that I would now be
working in holistic therapies, I'm sure I wouldn't have believed
you. My first career was as a scientist. I studied Natural
Sciences at Jesus College, Cambridge, and by 1996 I was a University
Lecturer in
Materials Science and Metallurgy. However, I had been pushing
myself very hard for years, and following a series of
viruses, my health broke down completely and I
was diagnosed as suffering from ME. Continuing with my
scientific career became impossible and I was forced to resign from my
lectureship. As conventional medicine had nothing to offer me
whatsoever, I began to investigate alternative therapies. I tried
many
therapies, and over a period of a couple of years, gradually began to
get
stronger again. By the time I had regained my health, I was
already training in holistic therapies myself, and had no intention of
returning to my scientific career. I came to realise that the
reason I had become ill was that I had been forcing myself into a role
which simply did not suit me, and the illness was my body's way of
making me stop.
I now work from my
home-based practice in Oadby, Leicester, providing a range of holistic
therapies and high quality teaching for those wishing
to become healers themselves. I specialise in the therapies which
deal with clearing our stories, removing subconscious blocks and
changing limiting beliefs. The way to health and well-being is to
discover the reason why life stresses you out, not simpy to suppress
the symptoms produced by the stress.
I am a certified Advanced ThetaHealingTM DNA2 Practitioner, registered with Vianna Stibal (ThetaHealing), and a Cosmic Level Metatronic Practitioner registred with Pippa Merivale (Metatronic Healing®). I am a Colour Mirrors registered Practitioner and Teacher of Colour 1 & 2, and Colour & Numerology. I am a Reiki & Seichem Master Teacher, Cartouche Master and I have been attuned to Sakara III, Cahokia VII. I hold an MA (1st Class honours) and a PhD in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, SNHS Higher International Diploma in Flower Remedies, Diplomas in Bach Flower Remedies, Advanced Flower Remedies, Crystal Healing and Kinesiology, a Certificate in Pendulum Dowsing & Radiesthesia and am qualified in Body Spin. I am an experienced further education teacher and lecturer. I am a member of the Reiki & Seichem Association (RASA), am accredited by the International College of Holistic Medicine (ICHM). I have had a CRB check and am fully insured to practise. |
